Property Documentation and Engraving

For property and devices in which owners want to add a name, initials or owner-applied-number.

Owners may use engraving devices supplied by the Department of Public Safety.

Be cautious about your engraving location. Do not engrave in areas that could cause damage and make the device inoperable.

If you have questions, just ask.

Students are urged to keep a list of all property with significant value.

Your list should be saved off-site, at a parent's house or electronically as an email draft.

Include Make/Brand, Model number and, most importantly, the serial number.

If the item is engraved, include location of the engraving and exactly what was engraved (name, number, etc.).
